Italian born but raised in Costa Rica, Riccardo “Ricky” Pilurzu has embraced the waterman culture on Costa Rica’s Guanacaste peninsula. Surfing Costa Rica’s world-class waves since he was a little boy, Riccardo competed in contests and surfed competitively for Italy. With a passion for offshore fishing and an engineer by education, he’s moved on to building custom fishing boats based out of his shop in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.

Before she could ride a bike, Camille Egdorf was catching leopard rainbows deep in the heart of the Alaskan wilderness at her family’s fishing lodge on the Nushagak River.
